This is for the guy who compiled the 17 worst white rappers list.Your making your self look bad, with blatant racism against white people. Now I'm sure most of us will agree with most of that list, but the fact that you made it only white people and the comments you shared makes yourself ignorant. You might actually be a good writer one day if you grow up and get rid of all your anger that's holding down. You remind me of a frustrated 16 year old boy. Your wasting to much effort bashing white people who are only trying to embrace hip hop. What's so wrong with that your just jealous. And to bash underground artist's just cause their white is very stupid I bet you never even give the music a chance as soon as you find out their not black. You want talk about "conscience" hip hop then listen to acts, such as Sweat shop union,The Crest,The Grouch,Bliss & Esso,Living legends,Lateef,Visionaries, and even Atmosphere, but I know you won't cause most of those artist's are white. You might actually get more then 35 members(half of which are probably Friends and family) if you guys were just more humble, but I guess that would defeat the whole purpose of this (ghost) website that no one sees your not making a difference just making your self look stupid, the name says it all Will Khitey come on man no one takes you seriously. This Blanco Diablo saying peace out dog.(see even I can come up with lame ass nick names)

I totally agree with this guy. As I read it, I was thinking how racist the writer sounded. Blacks say that they don't want to be seen differently, and want the same freedoms as the whites, but by writing stuff like this, you're just making matters worse, isolating yourself from other cultures. And who are you to say blacks are the only ones who can embrace the hip-hop culture. Can't whites create the same type of beats as blacks? They have every right. Oh and the Beastie Boys were widely popular 10 years ago and still have a large fan base. Plus they aren't seriously going for "black" sound; they're making music they like that is fun at the same time. There's no reason to bash them for it. In conclusion, the author of this is ignorant.

Hmm...
Now, let's look at this...both sides of the story...
Most of that list is accurate; they are shit rappers and they're white. No arguments from me. It's when the write gets into "they're crap BECAUSE they're white" that the plot unravels and we're left with cheap insults. This is not clever...like Marky Mark throwing bricks at a bus and shouting ******.
Hip-Hop for black unity...no problem with that either, and as one whose introduction to Hip-Hop was through Public Enemy, I think the writer is correct in stating the role white people have had in dilluting and exploiting Hip-hop culture...but then don't rappers with clothes and perfume lines also do the same thing? Can't imagine KRS-ONE releasing a line of panty-liners for the ladies...can you? Now that would be exploitation, but then so are P Diddy's perfume and Jay-Z's hoodies...remember when Hip-Hop's message was "no sell out"...??
Now, we're looking at rappers and skills here, are we not, and to make this top 17 (i'm assuming 17 was pretty much all you could come up with, as it's a very random number) the nominees have to be shit rappers. Say what you like about Eminem; while i'm not personally a fan, he can rap. No question. His past lyrics...if it's true then he's a dickhead, but he's also skilled on a mic...unlike Professor Griff who would diss whites/jews/anyone but couldn't rap for shit. Were I to compile a "Top 17 Shit Black Rappers" list he'd be near the top, but then I'd be a bigot. You see where i'm going with this?
Again, from my days of listening to P.E I understand the notion that Pro-Black does not mean anti-white...although curiously, pro-White ALWAYS means anti-black! As with anything from a reasoned mind, a dislike should be personal and not general. I don't like "this guy", not i don't like "white guys". You might not like white folk, that's your choice and you have every right to your opinion. What you don't have is the right to slam white people across the board...unless you actively welcome the same done unto you...you cannot have your cake and eat it.
Of your list...most can't rap for shit and you're well within your rights to ridicule them but only where you pit them against the best and see where they end up, the best in terms of technique, style, skills, lyrics, stage-presence, whatever...nobody will ever describe Rakim as "one of the best black rappers of all time"...because in context, the black is neither implied nor necessary...Rakim is a rapper...a great one. MC Serch is a rapper...an average to poor one. THIS is the only necessary comparison required here. Make it an issue of skin colour and you immediately belittle your own argument AND come off as a pathetic child with an axe to grind. You are 100% right about white people exploiting Hip-Hop...they do...but how many rappers got f**k**g rich on that bandwagon...living in the Hollywood Hills is not exactly "street" now is it...and there are a lot of rappers living that life because they have exploited women, gang culture, fashion and indeed Hip-Hop itself by diluting it. I doubt there was was too much arm twisting when the white A&R guy said "wanna make money?"
Enlightenment, my friend, is what is required here and if you wish the world to see you for the person you are and not the colour of your skin...well people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones and you, well, I doubt there's much glass left. You should tap up Jay-Z for a loan; I hear he's rolling in it...in fact he could probably build you a sweet new bullet-proof glass house from the interest he makes daily on his current account...no more broken glass AND nobody will hear you when you're ranting...
Yep, that's me done....leave it to the English to settle things in a reasoned fashion without resorting to name-calling and back-handed insults.
Cheers folks.
